Christian Healthcare - deductible on Sch A?

Are amounts paid to Christian Healthcare Ministries deductible on Sch A or on Page 1 1040 for self-employed taxpayers as qualified health insurance premiums?

CHM is not an insurance company and the monthly payments are not insurance premiums. The minimum monthly amount paid to CHM is not tax deductible. But any amount the participant pays into the ministry over and above their minimum monthly amount is deductible as a charitable contribution (not a medical expense)

But it does qualify under ACA as health insurance coverage and will avoid penalties.

Technically it qualifies as an exception to having medical insurance. Form 8965, Part III exemption D.
