1098 missing MIP

    1098 missing MIP

    I just ran across a 1098 Mortgage statement missing the Mortgage Insurance Premium. The client called the mortgage company and got the MIP paid by the telephone. They said they would not be issuing a new 1098. I guess they omitted it because of it expiring. But, now extended--

      I found 1 by looking at last years (2016 return it being there) but not on the 1098. TP called got # no new 1098 forthcoming.
