per the 2-9-18 bi-partisan budget act extension of certain tax breaks, it appears that above the line tuition stays but what about the lifetime learning credit ? gone ?

I don't recall Lifetime learning credits on the "chopping block"??

As far as I know post 2017 it stays.

I believe one of the tax cut proposals eliminated it, but on the final version that was passed it stays.

In 2018, due to the new law passed 5 days ago or so, we now have all three tuition options:
LLC
AOC
Tuition Deduction
