    Amended Returns

    Can I still file an amended return for 2014 for an 1120S? Is my deadline October 15, 2017? The 2016 return has been filed...Thanks,,,Duane Anderson

      Yes, you can amend. The deadline is not due for several months yet.

      The 2014 return was originally due March 15th, 2015. Three years gives you until March 15th, 2018 (September 15th if an extension was originally filed).

          I can't remember that I've ever amended an 1120S, but if it changes income amount, wouldn't all subsequent years filed need to be amended for the carryforward balance sheet, etc to be correct?
