I want to send through certified mail a Form 911 along with a letter and other documentation to the Taxpayer Advocate in regards to an IRS collection case. My client is retired and lives in New York State, and I live and work in New Jersey. I noticed the Taxpayer Advocate has different addresses. Is there a particular address that I should use in this situation? Does it make any difference?
