    SCHOLARSHIPS - What state do you pay?

    Son has scholarship which is part taxable, does the scholarship follow to the state of residency, or does he need to pay the state the university is in?

      Good question. Easily found by knowing the type of scholarship and how earned and reading the particular state's tax code as to tax treatment.
