    Amish Employee

All I know is that they are not subject to SS/Medicare taxes. I assume otherwise they are subject everything else, FIW, State withholding, UE and work.comp? Maybe depending on State?

They are only exempt from FICA if they have a 4029 or 4361 on file. Didn't look it up, but I believe if they are an employee (as opposed to self-employed) they are only exempt if employer is also exempt.

Thank you so much, Kathy, you are perfectly right, both, employee and employer need to be Amish. I looked at form 4029 earlier and it did not make any sense as an employer but now it does.
