    Personal expenses a business deduction?

    Client has new schedule C which is skincare/nail care

    She was "told" that she could write off her personal expenses of the skincare line as she is a walking endorsement of the product.

    There is a reason the COGS section says purchases MINUS personal use.

            You can't be serious!!!

            If you can find that in the code, you are the best!

            If she is "told" she looks like a million dollars you think she will have a tax liability?

              Sales/Marketing people will say anything to make the deal. I would love to see that liar's tax return.
