Depreciation not taken on 2014 tax return

If i amend the 2014 tax return on business equipment forgotten on tax return, they will be -$17,560 .

Can I file a 3115 with a 481 and put as other on their business schedule C this year, 2016 (it was entered correctly on 2015 tax return)

Will 2014 result in NOL carryforward?

      Either

You are allowed to amend or use Form 3115 in 2016.

I think amending is the only option.

Form 3115 is to change the "accounting method". I think filing it correctly in 2015 established the correct accounting method, so there is no "change" to do with Form 3115. So I think you need to amend to correct it.
