    Many years ago I was attempting to counsel our then governor, the late Winthrop Rockefeller, about the tax benefits of a sole family income; to wit: "Win, if you'll just let Mrs. W. quit Dollar General and stay home, then you can still cash in on EIC with your $15K governor's salary."
