    1099-c

    Client has two 1099-C from credit cards and insisted they will go on a 982 and it does not have to be included in income. Have researched and am brain dead. She says IRS said she could use 982. Really appreciate any help.

    Due to insolvency? Pub 4681 has info if you didn't already look there, and an insolvency worksheet on p. 8.
