    Missouri preparers and t he new filing deadline

    certain counties have had their deadline extended to May 16. the IRS notice says that farmers March 1 deadline is also affected. does anyone know if the farmer deadline of March 1(to avoid estimate tax penalties) is extended to may 16th also?

      Yes, as per the IRS announcement dated January 22, 2016, which you may view and read on the IRS's web site.

          yes, I did read, but can't determine if the march 1 deadline for farmers has been extended, too. maybe I didn't read far enough?
