    SSI for kids?

The children of my client receive SSI for their deceased mother. The SSA1099's are in the names of the kids not the TP. I know this is not taxable income, but wondering if I should put it on the return somewhere to avoid an IRS notice. Anyone know?

It would only go on the kids return if they otherwise had income. It never goes on the parent return if that was the question.
In other words, a democratic government is the only one in which those who vote for a tax can escape the obligation to pay it.
