I ran across something today that I think would make a great project for people in our trade. It's an outfit that's shipping school supply kits (pencils, erasers, blunt scissors, rulers, notebook paper, etc. in Zip-loc bags) to little Iraqi kids that don't have anything to write with. It's run by an actor named Gary Sinise (played "Lt. Dan" in "Forrest Gump;" remember him?). Anyhow I'm gonna talk to a couple of other tax preparers and see if we can ship them a few (to Kansas City--Fedex picks up the tab from there). I figure they'll cost about $15/$20 each.
Now this is gonna feel good. Not much question but what I sorely need to repent and do some deeds and sacrifices ever' now and then to get myself back in the good graces of you-know-who.
