    ACA exemption for 2015

    Taxpayer signed up for insurance thru "Covered California" for 2015 in March. Due to backlog, wasn't enrolled until May 1 as shown on 1095-A. Is there an exemption for 2015 tax return (none shown on Form 8965)?

      That exemption only applied to tax year 2014.

      For 2015 there is a "short coverage gap" exemption (less than 3 months)
