            All was resolved via email immediately. However, I didn't see how to delete my OP. The Edit/Delete button lets me Edit only. So, I edited out the verbiage. Sorry for the confusion. If any of you reading this have the authority, please delete this thread.

              I had a conversation with the Forum moderators about this quite a while back. While you can delete a message you post within a thread, you cannot delete a new post if you subsequently wish to, say because you found the answer before anyone replied (or, as happened to me) you just realize it was a dumb post. We agreed that it would be reasonable to be able to delete as long as no responses had been posted but it does not look like anything ever happened to facilitate that.
