Pennsylvania per deim for truck drivers

I have a client that is a truck driver that resides is pa. He is an over the road driver gone for weeks at a time. Pennsylvania will not accept the federal per deim rate, they want receipts. Of course the driver does not have any receipts but has his log books. What is the best way to deal with this audit. Thx.

Without the actual receipts you don't get anything on PA. The log book does not mean anything. If they have receipts for food, etc then they can use that.
