Well taken with your reply and valuable cites. My reference was also "NRM-4218AO.3 1 3/22/2007" that gives an easy to understand Q & A that may help the posters issue. But at least it was an area to reference.
The "NRM-4218AO.3 1 3/22/2007" references information from IRS revenue procedures, regulations and basis part of that information in a understandable Q & A manner. Note it also address Public Safety Officers.
Asking TAXEA for a cite, if available (I respect many of TAXEA posts), was to see if that would provide the posters more for further reference.
As far as sending FEDUKE404 in a direction, FEDUKE404 is smart enough to know, when arriving at the fork in the road, which direction to go and has the availability to go in either direction for more information.
Think enough information has been provided to this post to cover many questions.Always cite your source for support to defend your opinion
