    50% deprec and section 179

    Have these been extended for 2015 yet?

    No. Not that I am aware of.

    I think this has been voted on in the House, but nothing further has been done.

    Besides, it isn't December 30th yet.

    I wish that one or both parties would pass a law that requires tax code changes to be made by September 30th to be effective for the current tax year. That won't happen as both parties like to use the tax code to get other stuff passed that wouldn't normally get passed.

      Lots of taxpayers asking, trying to do some planning. Chances good it will be extended again?
