    PTIN Renewal

    According to Uncle Sam the PTIN renewal date should start on October 16th. Has anyone renewed their PTIN?

    I cannot seem to find any info relating to the renewal

      Renewing PTIN for 2016

      The usual IRS website for PTIN management does not yet allow renewal for the upcoming tax season.

      Based on prior years actions, the renewal process should be available there fairly soon.

              PTIN renewal update

              From the IRS web site:

              "SYSTEM STATUS: Sign-up and renewal for 2015 are currently available. The 2016 open season will begin in early November."
