    2015 QCD for IRA RMD

Has a tax extender been passed for 2015 that will allow the QCD to be deducted from AGI?

    No, not yet.

Last year it was extended for just one year, to apply for the year 2014, and even that wasn't done until December 2014. Whether or not it will be extended again is anyone's guess.

It was included in the extender bill that passed the Senate finance committee in July with a vote of 23 to 3, so I'd say it's likely to be extended again.

"At this writing, there are two different efforts to extend the expiring tax credits. The Senate bill introduced this summer, the Tax Relief Extension Act of 2015, S. 1946, generally provides for a two-year extension. The provisions would be reinstated to the beginning of this year and for 2016. The House of Representatives’ bill, Tax Cuts for America Act of 2015, H.R. 1808, has a much smaller list of seven tax provisions, and the bill would extend those benefits for only this year retroactively. - See more at: http://www.thetaxadviser.com/newsletters/2015/oct/expired-tax-provisions-no-relief.html#sthash.7v3VIC9l.dpuf"
