October 15th-Deadline for EF for 2014 Returns?

Have a return preparing but probably won't be ready for filing by the 15th. Is this the deadline for 2014 filing via EF?

No. Haven't seen when they shut down EF for individual returns this year. Maybe late October or November. Someone will jump in with the dates. Or, ask your software company. Some states may not stay open as long as the IRS, so check with your states. I think entity returns go even later.

they can be filed electronically for 3 years if you have the right license with your program.
Believe nothing you have not personally researched and verified.

Last year the shutdown/cutover was November 22nd. I'd expect it to be around the same.
