    Tuition and Fees Credit

    I think there was a post some time ago about the tuition and fees credit being
    discontinued. Do I remember this correctly?

      TTB, page 1-12, "Effective for 2006. Unless Congress extends the provision, the tuition and fees deduction will expire. Taxpayers may still qualify to take an education tax credit instead of the tuition and fees deduction."

      To date, Congress has yet to extend this for 2006.
