Built in Gain Tax re Sub S holding period

For the year 2015 I believe the holding period for build in gain tax is 10yrs. It reverted back from the 5yr in 2014.

is there a law revision that I may not be aware of in 2015 yr

Yes you are correct it is back to 10 years.

Another of the extenders we will have to wait for our wonderful leaders to sort out later in the year.

Yes, the 5-year BIG recognition period did, indeed, expire on December 31, 2014. There is currently legislation in process (H.R. 629) that would make a permanent change, establishing the recognition period at five years.
