I have a client with insulation put in there attic in 2014 to reduce heat gain or loss. According to TTB that qualifies for the credit. HOWEVER, when I went to do the form it says "as prescribed by 2009 IECC" as IF the taxpayer would know that! MAYBE the contractor knows, should they wait to contact him? Thanks!

I did that, but honestly, did not want to read all that! Thought the TP could just ask the contractor, was hoping maybe based on TTB that I wouldn't have to worry about it. Ok, sounds lazy, but I'm tired! 3 more days!!
