This is new, I have a TP with earned income of about 72,000---to much for EIC----however, they have a schedule C loss of about 44,000 put there income in EIC range. However, my software is not calculating any credit, and I don't like to do overrides. Help!

It has been a while since I used ATX but all tax software have checklist for EIC that MUST be completed before it will calculate the correct EIC. Does ATX has a diagnosis report that will tell you what item is missing??Taxes after all are the dues that we pay for the privileges of membership in an organized society. - FDR -
I had answered all that checklist, I went to check the return and figured out the problem there! THANK YOU so much!!!!
