    Client got two 1095-As

Doing my first 8962. Client got two 1095-As. The first from Jan 1-July 31 which shows the monthly premium, SLCSP, and Advance credit all completed. That's fine as the client got an advance premium tax credit for 7 months. The second 1095-A is for the period Aug 1-Dec 31. It only shows entries in the monthly Premium column but nothing in the SLCSP column.

Why would the 1095-A have nothing in column B for the SLCSP?

Unless they added or took someone off the plan in the latter part of the year, the SLCSP would not have changed from the beginning of year.

It seem like the form would indicate that they paid the full amounts in those months, but would be good to have client verify that.

I agree, nothing in the SLCSP column indicates they did not receive the Advance credit for those later months.

Another reason why the SLCSP would change is if they moved. If they moved or changed the number of people covered (including if there was a birth or death), you need to look up the SLCSP.
