    Social Security Statement

    Is it normal that the SS statement doesn't show the correct amount for 2004 yet? I can understand 2005 but 2004 should show the correct amount. Client is self-employed and has some W-2 wages. Only W-2 wages show.

    What is the best way to it corrected, or is it better to wait another year?

      My experience has been that it can at times take eighteen to twenty four months for SSA to reflect current amounts.
