I have a non profit taxpayer in the arts field. In the past, a 990EZ has been filed since there income is under the threshold for a 990. During 2014 they started a capital campaign to move into a new building and raised about $400,000. Can I report these donations so they are not shown as income, so a 990EZ can continue to be filed? And are these donations over $5,000 each reportable on schedule B, considering the nature of them?
Thanks, Duane Anderson, CPA
