    ACA household income

do VA pensions add into household income? couple will be under poverty level if va pension doesn't count. I'm sure if he has a VA pension he covered under the VA health plan, but not wife.

I don't know anything about VA pensions, but if it is taxable like other pensions, it add to the MAGI. That means that it IS part of "Household Income" for purposes of the ACA.

Retirement and Pension income is to be included:

Find out if you qualify for lower costs on Marketplace health insurance coverage at HealthCare.gov.

thanks for the link, veterans disability is not included. SSI is not included, neither of these two items do we ever get a 1099. information has to ask for and then a letter will be sent.

Do credit card companies MBNA in particular ask for the household income even if you are living with parents as a non-dependant. If so, what should I enter. I work full time and have my own earnings. Do I enter my income only?

          THanks
