    Looks like somehow this thread was deleted...

    I thought this was a very interesting topic.

    I have an incarcerated spouse, so I am familiar with these issues.

    Okay, wait a minute...

    That didn't come out right.

    I have a client with an incarcerated spouse.

    I was the OP. Not sure who deleted that because there was a lively discussion going.

    Anyways I have spoken to the wife and told her that she will have to get me a signature either on the 8879 or the POA for me to e-file. Otherwise I will print her a paper copy to do as she pleases.

    BTW because of her dire financial situation I decided to waive my fees!
