    State Return Processing - Intuit?

    Has anyone heard of a report regarding the suspension of state return efiling when using Intuit? Supposedly on CNBC this morning?

      Minnesota announced they would not accept turbo tax returns at this time. Due to Hacking, identity stealing or something like that.

          Looks like all states are affected with TurboTax:

          TurboTax says it will temporarily stop processing state tax returns, following growing reports of suspicious fraudulent activity.

              Intuit is catching the heat

              But it's not Intuit or Turbo Tax that is causing the issue. The issue is criminals filing fraudulent returns. They use TT as the tool to accomplish this because the product is readily available in the marketplace and the criminals know it is easy to use.
