Green Card
Green Card = Permanent Resident = Resident Alien. These terms are synonymous.
In general, a resident alien is taxed as a US citizen. But there are exceptions.
First: When did this person become a resident alien? If it was during 2014, then you may have a dual status alien: resident alien for part of the year, nonresident alien for part of the year. That gets really complicated really fast.
Also: You need to see if any of the provisions of the tax treaty are applicable.
See Publications 519 and 901.
