    Medical Expenses for S Corps

Good afternoon all. I have a question in regards to health insurance and medical reimbursements for >2% shareholders for S Corps.

As I understand it for those employee shareholders the health insurance has to be included on box 1, but not 3 or 5, of the W2. Basically my question is does that only allow for insurance, or can co-pays, prescriptions, misc. other medical related costs also be included in that "wage" expense?

Please search other threads to find more details.

ONLY if the shareholder/employee is the ONLY employee can the Scorp reimburse him for health insurance and include it on box 1 of his W-2. If there are any other employees, whether or not they get reimbursements, you can NOT use the process from prior years.
