I heard at one time that this form would not be available for this tax season and another time that it would be out by January 31? Anybody else heard any information on this?

The Healthcare Marketplaces are required to send out the 1095-As by January 31st. I would assume that means the IRS will have a non-draft form ready by then.
Because they are only sent by the Healthcare Marketplaces, we don't need to worry about sending them out, just entering them on the taxpayer's tax return.
We may need to help employers send out 1095-Bs and 1095-Cs, but they are not required until next year.
