    Amending a deceased taxpayers final return 1040?

    Amending a deceased taxpayers final return 1040? I am not aware it cannot be amended if done within the time frame, correct?

      I have only done it once. It took the IRS a very long time to process and finally ended up with the Advocate service. At no point did anyone tell me it couldn't be done.
      In other words, a democratic government is the only one in which those who vote for a tax can escape the obligation to pay it.
