I took and passed the RTRP exam on 01/17/2013, but because the courts shut down the program the very next day, I have never received any acknowledgement that I passed the test. I would like to participate in the new voluntary program and will complete the required continuing education, but having already passed the RTRP exam, I refuse to take the AFTR course and test. The problem is that there is no way that I know of to have the IRS verify that I have in fact passed this test. (I do have the letter from the testing site) I have made numerous phone calls to no avail. Does anyone know of any way that I can have it verified that I passed this test and am exempt from the AFTR course?
