    Dropping EIC Clients

Been thinking about this for awhile. But considering dropping a lot of EIC clients, in particular those where children are involved. There is a possibility that many of these also have no health insurance so there would be considerably more work in preparing their return. While increase fee is justified, still difficult with low-income clients.

Well anyone under 100% of poverty level would qualify for free Medicaid or get an exception from the penalty, so I don't see much complexity there. The 100% - 400% area seems where the most of the headaches will be. Basically $23,550 - $94,200 for a family of four.

I will happily accept any EIC clients you are ready to drop. I am in the Washington DC area.
