Received email ad for 15 hour (RTRP) continuing education course for just $34.95, Seems reasonable price but never heard of them. Anybody know of them?

Golden State CPE

I used them many years ago, when I began doing taxes again after a few years out of the business. I took the basic course required by California. It was very comprehensive and the test was not your normal read and pass home study. (It was before online CPE.) I get a card from them each year, but attended seminars and use The Tax Book for CPE.

I have used them to keep up my CTEC registration. Not bad materials, however, somewhat cumbersome for grading in this digital age. They send the CTEC results directly to CA, I am not sure if they would do that with the RTRP because that program is not running anymore.
