    "tax basis" Capital Account

    What are the capital accounts?

Organization costs are amortized and syndication costs are capitalized. Why?

Syndication is an asset account? an owner's equity account?

    No......,

..... Organizational Costs are Capitalized and then Amoritized. Synd costs are capitalized and then amoritized.

The word "capitalized" does not mean a capital account, although, it may end up being part of the capital account. A capital account is a credit account. A capitalized expense is a debit account.
