    MJF w/1099-C issued to spouse (she) who says separately she was insolvent

    MJF w/1099-C issued to spouse (she) who says separately she was insolvent. Anyone had experience with this before? Whether this makes a difference but the TP and spouse reside in a community state. Seems to me if this was to possible, they would have to file MFS. Would the spouse complete the insolvency worksheet using 1/2 of assets values and 1/2 of liabilities?

    Is there such a thing or just a homemade one? I have my first issue ever.
