Commuting
The cost of commuting to and from the principal workplace is not deductible, regardless of whether the taxpayer travels by bus, car, taxicab, subway, vanpool, or hot air balloon.
Also, taxpayers who bicycle to work cannot deduct the cost of the calories they burn.
