Estimated tax / refund

Tax return e filed and accepted asking for refund to be applied to 2014 es taxes. Taxpayer wanted refund to be sent to her. Can you amend the efiled return to receive the refund after asking for it to be applied to next yrs' taxes?

Nope. It's gone to 2014 and there is no gettin' it back.....

Did she authorize the refund to be used for est tax then change her mind after it was filed? Tell her to call the IRS because the return cannot be amended to "change her mind". Maybe it will cause her to think about it next year.
