    Cost of Setting Up a Special Needs Trust

    My clents spent $3,000 to set up a Special Needs Trust for their disabled child. My feeling is this is not deductible as a 2% item on their Schedule A. Anyone think it is dedcutible on Schedule A?

      i THINK IT IS OK

      I found an internet article saying it was deductible and in Lasser's there was a paragrpah about guardian fees being deductible, so I think it is ok to deduct.
