    PayPal reecords to find hidden income. IRS News Conference on April 11, 2006:
    IRS suspects that individuals are using PayPal to utilize funds held in foreign bank accounts while avoiding the reporting requirements that apply to regular bank transfers.
    So, it has summonsed PayPal's records to identify such accounts. The IRS says the
    new summonses may also help it identify people who fail to report income received through
    PayPal transactions.

    eBay Info for State Sales/Use Taxes?

    Wonder if the PayPal info will be shared with the states for sales/use tax verification???

      State Sales Tax

      The State of Tx & the IRS do have an exchange of info agreement.
      Other than that I do not know.
