    New York Teachers Retirement System

    A client, now living in Virginia...using all of our state's amenities. Is any of his retirement exempted from Virginia State Income Tax Laws?

      Nope. Have one of those. It's taxed here, but there is (usually) a $12K deduction for anyone over 65 if their income is not too high.
