    California LKE

I'm trying to find information on Like-kind exchanges in California and I'm getting no where on the FTB website. Can anyone direct me to the pub. on this issue at FTB? Specifically have a client that traded Cali property for Oregon property and need the procedure for reporting it to Cali for an Oregon resident. Thanks,

    Daniel

The federal copy which accompanies the CA return will give FTB the info.

      See:

      https://www.ftb.ca.gov/law/legis/13_...b92_061213.pdf and

Gain is deferred in California until gain is recognized for federal purposes but there are new annual reporting requirements.

Thanks everyone, I thought I had heard something about new reporting requirements, will check the references. The exchange occurred in May 2013 so it looks like the annual reporting requirements aren't applicable.
