Has anyone used the bottles and refilled your own cartridges instead of buying the high price cartridges already filled? I saw the stuff to buy on amazon and just wondered if it really worked. the color cartridges are so high and don't use often, but they seem to have to be replaced or printer doesn't work. Brother 9340CDW, nice machine, but a little slow, and cartridges don't last long for what they cost. Just my opinion.

Much cheaper to refill than to buy expensive toner cartridges. Try www.Fillserv.com. You can buy the bottle as low as 11.95.
Also make sure to reset the gear.
You can squeeze 3000 pages out of a refill with Toner save turned on.Taxes after all are the dues that we pay for the privileges of membership in an organized society. - FDR

How many times can you reuse a cartridge?
I purchased the refilled cartridges and they were in the range of $19 each? Seems like a refill kit isn't a major cost savings. But then I don't know exactly how much toner they put in the cartridge either.
That was posted several years ago and it's what I used. Bought 3-5 cartridges per printer /fax machine and they've been decent. You get a discount if you buy a few instead of just 1.Last edited by Roberts; 02-21-2014, 12:17 PM.

When you buy from Fillserv you give them the Make and Model and they send you the bottle that has the correct weight of the toner. So no measuring required.
I find it cost effective for the 3000 pages I can get out of it. Takes about 20 minutes to empty the old cartridge and refill and cleanup.
You can get 5 uses out of a original cartridge before the internal parts wear out on you. You will know when you can't use it because of grey shading or uneven lines.Taxes after all are the dues that we pay for the privileges of membership in an organized society. - FDR
