    I get IRS Newswire Releases when they come out.

    It is Issue Number RD-2014-16. It was released yesterday. Should be able to find it on IRS.gov

        if sanctioned by the department have him check with his payroll dept they should be able to tell him. In Hawaii the PD has a memo from the IRS that explains why it is not subject to SE and not considered Sch C income. The income goes on ln 21 of the 1040 and expenses on F2106.
        Believe nothing you have not personally researched and verified.

            Sure....anything to support Hawaii's Finest....email me at taxea@hawaii.rr.com and I will reply it to you. I also took the time to verify it with an investigator at the State Tax Office on Oahu. His son is a cop.
