Word games - sales tax type
I was aware of this verbiage for the HUT.
So, does "instead of" mean the IRS sees it as a sales tax (add to table amounts) to help on Schedule A, or something else ("Nice try, Charlie!")? ? ?
My best guess is the latter applies.
